As with all traditionally glazed tiles, slight variations in colour and tone may occur both between and within batches. This individuality of texture and shade is not a flaw but a celebrated feature, adding authenticity and character to the finished installation.

Over time, the glaze may develop a delicate crazed surface, enhancing the tile’s aged appearance. The ceramic colour itself will also mature beautifully over decades, thanks to the copper dioxide used in the glaze, giving the tiles their distinctive depth and richness.
