QUATRO TILES
Frequently Asked Questions
Service
For most standard orders, we aim for delivery within around one week of purchase. Made-to-order tiles — such as Delft and hand-painted ranges — typically have longer lead times and can take up to eight weeks.
Lead times can vary, so we always recommend checking with us for the most up-to-date timings. If you need tiles sooner, please let us know and we can look at arranging priority or express delivery where available.
Where possible, we recommend ordering the full quantity of a tile at the same time. Tiles are produced in batches, and ordering separately can sometimes result in slight variations in colour or finish.
If your project is happening in stages or has been delayed, please let us know. We’re often able to store your tiles and arrange delivery when you’re ready.
Yes — we offer tile installation for customers local to Monmouth (NP25 3EE), carried out by Sam and our experienced Quatro Tiles installation team. Because we supply and install the tiles, we’re able to ensure everything is planned and fitted to a consistently high standard.
Tiles are produced in batches, and there can be slight variations in colour or finish between batches. To help ensure consistency and maintain quality for all customers, we’re able to accept returns of up to 10% of the original order (the standard wastage allowance).
Returns must be in full, unopened boxes and in resaleable condition. Please note that we don’t offer collection for returns — tiles need to be returned to an agreed location.
If you’re unsure whether your tiles are eligible for return, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
Absolutely. We’re here to support you at every stage — whether you have a clear idea already or need a bit of guidance. You’re welcome to visit the showroom, get in touch by phone or email, or send us any plans, photos, or inspiration you have to help us understand your project.
Products
If a tile requires sealing, this will be clearly noted on the product page.
As a general guide, natural materials such as stone, marble, limestone, terracotta, and other porous or handmade tiles will always require sealing, both before and after installation, to protect the surface and maintain their appearance.
If you’re ever unsure, just ask — we’re more than happy to help and can recommend the most suitable sealants and aftercare products to ensure your tiles are properly protected and perform as intended.
Our tile calculator on each product page can help you estimate quantities. It’s also important to consider the layout you’re planning — patterned layouts such as herringbone typically require more tiles than a simple stacked or straight layout due to additional cuts and waste.
If you’d like help checking quantities, we’re always happy to advise. You can also speak with your installer, or we can arrange a measurement visit for customers local to Monmouth (NP25 3EE).
Suitability information — such as whether a tile is appropriate for floors, wet areas, or outdoor use — is shown on each product page.
If you’d like to double-check anything, or want advice based on how the space will be used, please feel free to contact us or visit the showroom.
We provide recommended grout options for each tile to help make the decision easier. Grout colour and finish can have a big impact on the final look, so we’re always happy to talk through the options and help you choose what works best for your space.
