Zellige tiles are handmade using traditional methods, and natural variations in colour, texture, size and glaze are an inherent part of their character. Small imperfections such as chips, cracks and uneven edges are expected and reflect the authentic, rustic nature of Zellige tiles rather than a fault.

Glaze colours will vary from tile to tile, and tiles supplied may differ slightly from samples or showroom displays. For best results, tiles should be unboxed and blended before installation to achieve an even distribution of colour and variation.

Due to their high level of variation, sampling more than one tile is recommended. Additional allowance should be made for cuts and selection, particularly if a more uniform appearance is desired.

The Medina Zellige collection is handcrafted in Fez, Morocco, celebrating the centuries-old traditions of Moroccan tile making. Each tile is shaped from a distinctive local clay, then glazed and twice-fired, resulting in a surface that is rich in depth, colour and artisanal character.

Natural variations in tone, texture, glaze movement and surface detail are an inherent part of authentic Zellige, giving every tile its own individuality and embracing the imperfect beauty of true craftsmanship. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and this variation is what brings warmth, movement and soul to every installation. Ordering samples is strongly recommended to fully appreciate these characteristics.

The collection is available in square and rectangle formats, and a carefully curated palette of seven versatile colourways, ranging from calm, timeless neutrals to bold, expressive hues. Glazed finishes offer luminous depth and richness, while Medina Raw tiles remain unglazed and unsealed, presenting a more natural, tactile expression of Moroccan design.

Alongside the plain tiles, the collection includes striking decorative designs inspired by traditional Moorish architecture.
Porton, meaning “gate” in Spanish, features bold geometric motifs drawn from Moorish forms, creating dramatic rhythm and visual impact.
Belen showcases sweeping semicircular arches, echoing classic Moorish doorways and bringing a sense of elegance and flow to walls.
