Cotswold Delft Thatched Cottage 13x13cm
Product Details
There are clusters of villages in the northern areas of the Cotswolds where you can find picturesque traditional thatched cottages. Thatched roofing was commonly used in the medieval period and remained popular until the late 19th century. The process is still used in some areas like this today.
Artists have been inspired by the quintessential cottage garden lifestyle of the Cotswolds. Picturesque market towns, dog walking as well as wildlife sightings of hares, barn owls and wild horses have been captured by our team of in-house artists to add to our ever expanding collection of hand painted delft tiles.
Painted in classic delft blue, these tiles can be mixed with any other designs from our delft ranges alongside delft corners to create a space in your home that truly speaks to you.
Painted on the English Glazed off-white base tile.
