Light Stone Beige Porcelain Floor Tiles – Gloucestershire Project | Quatro Tiles Monmouth

Project Overview

For this kitchen project, the client wanted a clean and modern flooring solution that would brighten the space while remaining durable and practical for everyday use. They chose a Light Stone Beige 60×60cm porcelain tile, a subtle stone-effect tile that provides a timeless and versatile finish.

The light neutral tones of the tile help reflect natural light throughout the room, creating a fresh and open feel while complementing the contemporary kitchen cabinetry.

The Brief

The homeowners were looking for a tile that would:

• Brighten the kitchen and dining area

• Complement the modern cabinetry and light worktops

• Provide a durable and easy-to-maintain floor

• Create a clean, contemporary look

A neutral stone-effect tile was chosen to act as a calm base for the room while allowing the darker cabinetry and furnishings to stand out.

Tile Selection

The Light Stone porcelain tile in 60×60cm format and Beige colourway was selected for its understated texture and versatility.

Key features include:

• Soft natural stone-inspired surface

• Light neutral colour that enhances brightness in the space

• Square larger-format tiles that create a balanced layout

• Durable porcelain suitable for busy kitchens

The subtle detailing within the tile adds visual interest without overwhelming the room’s design.

Installation

The tiles were installed in a straight lay pattern, allowing the square format to create a clean and structured look across the floor.

Attention was given to:

• Maintaining even grout joints across the floor

• Ensuring alignment through the kitchen layout

• Achieving clean cuts around cabinets and appliances

The 60×60cm format provides a balanced scale for the room while minimising grout lines for a more seamless finish.

The Finished Result

The finished floor provides a bright and contemporary foundation for the kitchen space. The soft stone tones work beautifully with the darker cabinetry, creating contrast while maintaining a calm and neutral palette.

The result is a practical and stylish floor that will remain timeless for years to come.
